In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from South Korea (
Hankook) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis). Generally,
Hankook summer tyres are slightly better rated (80%) than
Maxxis (58%). In this particular case, the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 has a better rating of 71% compared to 54% of the Maxxis Premitra HP6. The first tyre test of Hankook Ventus Prime 4 was done in 2022, compared to 2026 when was the Maxxis Premitra HP6 first tested. Important for this comparison is also the
