In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from South Korea (
Hankook) against a tyre from a manufacturer from Taiwan (
Maxxis). Generally,
Hankook allround tyres are slightly better rated (82%) than
Maxxis (65%). In this particular case, the Hankook ION FlexClimate has a better rating of 90% compared to 26% of the Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6. The first tyre test of Hankook ION FlexClimate was done in 2025, compared to 2020 when was the Maxxis Premitra Snow WP6 first tested.
