In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Singapore (
GT) against a tyre from a manufacturer from France (
Michelin). Generally,
Michelin winter tyres are slightly better rated (89%) than
GT (50%). In this particular case, the Michelin PILOT ALPIN 5 has a better rating of 100% compared to 51% of the GT Radial WinterPro2 Sport. The first tyre test of GT Radial WinterPro2 Sport was done in 2024, compared to 2020 when was the Michelin PILOT ALPIN 5 first tested. Important for this comparison is also the
