The Giti Gitisynergy H2 offers secure handling on wet roads, characterized by short braking distances. Noteworthy is its impressive performance on dry roads and a reasonable pricing, winning some top positions in tyre testing. However, the tyre exhibits a few weaknesses. Notable among these are slight understeering on dry surfaces and a high rolling resistance, which could result in increased fuel consumption.
Replacing the Fulda EcoControl HP, the EcoControl HP2 boasts commendable traits. It scores high in environmental balance, tread life, wear, and efficiency. An added advantage is its exterior noise level which is significantly low. Yet, the EcoControl HP2 doesn't fare well on wet roads, marking down its rating. In multiple tests, the Fulda EcoControl HP2 slightly outperformed the Giti Gitisynergy H2. In the Autobild test with 55 total tyres, Fulda secured the 16th position leaving Giti at the 17th. ADAC tests also favored the EcoControl HP2 over Giti's model that ranked 14th out of 16 tyres compared to the 6th position of the latter.
To summarize, both the Giti Gitisynergy H2 and Fulda EcoControl HP2 excel in certain areas. Giti impresses with its wet surface handling and reasonable price, but falls short due to understeering on dry surface and high rolling resistance. The Fulda EcoControl HP2 excels in terms of environment-friendly criteria and makes minimal exterior noise but doesn't perform consistently, especially on wet roads. For those prioritizing wet condition handling and cost-effectiveness, consider Giti Gitisynergy H2. However, for drivers seeking environment-friendly tires, Fulda EcoControl HP2 is a better pick nonetheless.
