Our analysis will explore two popular summer tyres: the Fulda EcoControl HP2 and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2. These models come from reputable manufacturers Fulda and Pirelli, respectively.

The Fulda EcoControl HP2 rating in our tests stood at 69%. Deriving from a former series known as Fulda EcoControl HP, the HP2 model demonstrates strengths in environmental impact, durability, and efficiency. According to ADAC, its test position was 13th out of 50 tyres. Autobild rated the tyre's best features as Aquaplaning - cross. However, despite these positive features, the tyre showed inability to maintain balance and had weaknesses on wet roads.

On the other hand, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 has an impressive 89% rating in our tests, outperforming the Fulda EcoControl HP2. Its previous model, Pirelli P7 Cinturato, was replaced by Pirelli Cinturato P7 C3, which will be interesting for those looking for the latest models. In ADAC, the tyre took the 17th place and in Autobild tests, where it excelled in wet braking, achieving the 2nd place among 53 tyres. The Cinturato P7 C2 also performed well on dry roads and showed good mileage and efficiency. However, it did not balance well and revealed weaknesses on wet roads, in addition to mediocre environmental impact and slight weakness in tread wear.

To summarize, both tyres have strengths and weaknesses that potential users should consider closely. The Fulda EcoControl HP2 performs favourably in terms of environmental impact and efficiency, but could improve on wet road performance. On the other hand, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 performs excellent in wet braking and good on dry roads but lags in environmental impact and tread wear. We recommend that users look closely at their specific driving conditions and priorities to make an informed choice between these two noteworthy models.
