Comparison: Firestone Roadhawk vs. Bridgestone Turanza 6 vs. Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 vs. Michelin e.Primacy vs. Pirelli Cinturato (C3)

Let's compare two popular summer tyre models: the Firestone Roadhawk and the Bridgestone Turanza 6.

Even though the Firestone Roadhawk was quite popular in its time, it has since been replaced by a newer model, the Firestone Roadhawk 2. It achieves a commendable rating of 57% from our tests. However, according to Autobild, it places 31 out of 50 in the test, revealing room for improvement. The Firestone Roadhawk is generally recognized for its sporty and dynamic handling features, short dry braking distance, and great value for money. On the downside, it has been pointed out for slightly higher rolling noise.

On the other hand, the Bridgestone Turanza 6, which is a proud product of Bridgestone, ranks significantly higher. Our tests have given it a very strong rating of 77%. According to Autobild, the Bridgestone Turanza 6 holds the 16th position out of 50 in the test and particularly stands out with its comfort and low rolling resistance. As per the summaries, the Bridgestone Turanza 6 exhibits balanced driving characteristics on both dry and wet surfaces, it ensures safe handling, has a really short braking distance and boasts an impressive mileage. Despite all these, it has got an average mark for its economy.

To sum up, both tyres bring positive features to the table: Firestone Roadhawk delivers a sporty drive feel and exceptional cost-effectiveness while the Bridgestone Turanza 6 succeeds in achieving superior comfort, performance and low rolling resistance. Despite these, both have some areas in need of a bit of enhancement. Even so, if we compare test positions, the Bridgestone Turanza 6 outperforms the Firestone Roadhawk by a significant margin.

Keep in mind, that the Firestone Roadhawk has been replaced by Firestone Roadhawk 2, so it might be worth checking this updated version. In general, both tyres promise a secure, comfortable driving experience, but the Bridgestone Turanza 6, as per our tests, and the tests of Autobild, is the overall better performer.
