Comparison: Dunlop SP Sport MAXX RT2 vs. Kumho Ecsta HS52

Autobild also ranked it at 3rd out of 51 tested tyres, commending its Dry braking and excellent Price/value ratio. However, Autobild noted a slight issue with the tyre's delayed steering response.

In summary, both tyres deliver positive performance. However, the Kumho Ecsta HS52 fares slightly better in brakes and price/value ratio making it an excellent choice for a summer touring tyre. The Dunlop SP Sport MAXX RT2, on the other hand, offers outstanding aquaplaning properties and comfort, marking it as a great choice for those looking for UUHP summer tyres. Both tyres have been noted to show delayed response in steering on dry surfaces.
