Comparison: Continental AllSeasonContact vs. Fulda MultiControl vs. Michelin CrossClimate 2 vs. GoodYear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3

The comparison between Continental AllSeasonContact and Fulda MultiControl reveals various strengths and weaknesses in certain areas of performance.

The Continental AllSeasonContact is an all-round tyre known for its high performance and dependable qualities. Made in Slovakia, Czech Republic and France, this tyre boasts a 77% rating on our test page. This model has not been replaced by a newer model yet. Continental as a manufacturer assures top-notch quality and commitment to innovation.

Highlighted features of the Continental AllSeasonContact include snow braking, snow cornering, comfort, and rolling resistance, amongst others. These characteristics were particularly noted in the Autobild and ACE tests, where it took the 5th and 1st positions respectively out of numerous tyres tested. Also to its credit are commendable qualities such as a stable wet handling and comparably low rolling resistance. However, some tests pointed out certain limitations, such as understeering driving behaviour and prolonged dry braking.

On the other hand, the Fulda MultiControl is an impressive all-round tyre from the Fulda manufacturer. Despite our rating of this model being unmeasured in percentages yet, it has shown notable performance in multiple tests. This model too has not been replaced by a newer version.

In the mutual tests, the Fulda MultiControl performed particularly well in dry handling, snow braking, and snow traction, as highlighted in the ACE tests. This tyre, however, did not fare as well as the Continental AllSeasonContact in the Autobild tests, securing the 13th position out of the total tyres. More specific strengths and weaknesses of Fulda MultiControl are yet to be revealed through further testing.

In conclusion, both tyres offer beneficial features. While the Continental AllSeasonContact proves to be a strong performer in both snow and wet conditions, the Fulda MultiControl shows promising results in handling and traction. The final verdict should ideally be based on your individual requirements and driving preferences.
