However, in Autozeitung's test, the Turanza T005 fell to the 5th position, though it still demonstrated commendable performance in cross-aquaplaning and wet circle cornering.


In the other corner, we have the Pirelli Cinturato P7. This tyre, produced in Italy and Romania, has received a rating of 75%. The P7 was rated 4th by ADAC and Autozeitung, standing out for its dry braking, noise control, interior noise, longitudinal aquaplaning, dry driving behaviour, and safety. Furthermore, AutoMotorSport provided a 5th place ranking, highlighting the tyre's strength in dry handling, dry steering response, interior noise, and wet braking. However, the P7 did not fare well in the ACE test, as it was placed 9th out of 9 tyres.


To summarize, the Bridgestone Turanza T005 performed better overall in all the tests and was praised for its balanced wet and dry performance, braking, and noise control. The Pirelli Cinturato P7, while falling slightly short in comparison, displayed distinct competencies in dry braking, interior noise, and safety. In conclusion, the Bridgestone Turanza T005 manages to edge out the Pirelli Cinturato P7 in overall performance.


As of now, neither of these models has been replaced by a newer version. We recommend these tyres for anyone looking for dependable summer tyres with good performance in both wet and dry conditions along with excellent noise control.
