Comparison: Bridgestone Turanza 6 vs. Pirelli Cinturato P7 vs. Michelin e.Primacy vs. GoodYear Efficientgrip Performance 2 vs. Falken e.Ziex

Today, we will be comparing two popular tyres - Bridgestone Turanza 6 and Pirelli Cinturato P7. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive review based on numerous vehicle tyre tests, focusing on summarising all key data points. Both of these tyres are summer types, suitable for dry and wet conditions.

The Bridgestone Turanza 6 manufactured by Bridgestone received an overall rating of 83%. It shows excellent performance in dry handling, as seen in the ACE test, where it ranked 6th out of 10. Its other strong points, as per the same test, were dry handling - objective and significantly low rolling resistance. Within a field of 55 in the Autobild test, this model ranked decently, securing the 10th spot. Its new summer profile stands out for its well-balanced driving properties, combined with safe handling in both wet and dry conditions. It also boasts short braking distances and a very commendable treadlife.

Now, let's turn to the Pirelli Cinturato P7, a product of Italian origination from Pirelli. It has an overall rating of 75% in our review. This model also performed well in dry handling, placing 4th in the ACE test which notably exceeds Bridgestone's position. In the comprehensive Autobild review involving 55 tyres, it secured a higher rank than Turanza, standing on the 9th position. Its key attributes include excellent braking performance and dynamic steering and handling characteristics. However, this tyre's longevity and economy were only rated as satisfactory, with some noting a relatively high price level.

In conclusion, both tyres have their own strengths. Bridgestone Turanza 6 shines with its driving comfort, safer handling, and lengthier treadlife whilst the Pirelli Cinturato P7 leads in sportier handling characteristics, and performance in dry conditions. In terms of overall test rankings, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 typically ranks higher than Bridgestone Turanza 6. However, neither tyre has had a newer model replacement, meaning they both remain a valid choice for consumers today.
