This is a comparative analysis between the Barum Bravuris 5 HM and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 tyres, manufactured respectively by Barum and Pirelli. Both are summer tyres, designed to provide high performance in warmer climates.

The Barum Bravuris 5 HM did not replace any previous model and at present, there is no new tyre to replace it. It scored a rating of 39% in our test, landing in the 15th position in the ADAC tyre test and a lower 29th position in the Autobild test out of 53 tyres.

This tyre scored 86% in our test, which confirms its excellent performance.

It's important to note that while the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 is classified as a touring tyre, the Barum Bravuris 5 HM does not have a specific sub-type. Despite both being summer tyres, their performance in tests shows significant differences.

According to Autobild 2021, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 performs well on dry surfaces but shows weaknesses on wet roads. It scores high on mileage and efficiency but was marked down for its environmental impact and slight weaknesses in abrasion. Its best feature is wet braking, proven by its high ranking in the Autobild test out of 53 tyres.

In conclusion, if ranking in mutual tests and overall performance is a major consideration in the choice of tyres, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 C2 holds an advantage over the Barum Bravuris 5 HM, despite its noted shortcomings. However, the choice between the two should ultimately depend on the specific needs and preferences of the driver.
