Nokian Snowproof 3P is Nokian Tyres’ new premium winter tyre for Central and Southern Europe, designed for drivers who need winter reliability without giving up high-speed stability on faster roads.
Nokian says the tyre is certified with the Premium TÜV SÜD Tire Mark and is aimed at winter conditions ranging from snow and slush to wet and dry roads. The first range includes 50 products from 17 to 21 inches, with the wider plan expanding to 98 SKUs across 96 sizes from 16 to 22 inches.
The technical package includes Alpine Performance Concept 3.0 and a Triple Zone Tread. The Arctic Zone targets snow grip, the Aqua Zone is focused on wet braking and aquaplaning resistance, and the Performance Zone is intended to improve directional stability and steering response.
Nokian also highlights Aramid Strong Sidewalls in sizes from 17 inches upward and a compound using renewable, recycled and ISCC PLUS certified raw materials. Production is linked to Nokian’s Oradea factory in Romania, with selected sizes produced in Nokia, Finland.
On Tirelab, Snowproof 3P has been added as a premium winter tyre. Its early rivals include Continental WinterContact TS 870 P (★94), Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3, Michelin Alpin/Pilot Alpin models, Bridgestone Blizzak 6 (★92) and Hankook Winter i*cept evo 4.
