The BFGoodrich Advantage has been a staple in summer tyre testing, repeatedly proving its capabilities. In the 2024 Autobild test for the 205/55 R16 size, it received a "good" rating, praised for its dynamic dry handling, quiet ride, low rolling resistance, and competitive pricing. However, it showed a tendency to understeer in wet conditions, which was noted as a drawback. Despite this, the tyre's performance in dry conditions remains commendable, with a stable driving behavior and short braking distances.

Looking back to 2022, the BFGoodrich Advantage in a 215/55 R17 configuration garnered positive feedback for its stable performance and short braking distances on dry roads, paired with a pleasantly quiet ride comfort. However, a similar challenge with understeer and extended braking distances in the wet was observed.

Most recently, in 2023, the tyre was rated "commendable" by ADAC for the 205/55 R16 dimension, demonstrating a consistent quality across tests. The 2025 Autobild rank at 24th for the 225/40 R18 size does not overshadow its proven reliability and versatility, maintaining a distinct reputation in the summer tyre category.

While there have been no recent replacements or updates to the BFGoodrich Advantage model, its strong track record in various test scenarios reaffirms its position as a worthy choice for drivers seeking reliable summer tyre performance.
